Rules
The meet follows the 2025-26 VPA Nordic Guide rules and then the International Ski Federation’s International Competition Rules where necessary. Coaches should familiarize themselves and athletes with the full set of rules, but some important clarifications are below:
VPA Rule 518 Uniforms: competition uniforms will consist of school-approved, full-length long- or short-sleeved tops so that all team members are dressed in the same school colors. No singlets or shorts allowed.
ICR 343.5: Competitors must wear/use all the means of identification (bibs, leg bibs, transponders, GPS…) provided by the organizer.
ICR 343.6: Competitors must follow the marked course in the correct sequence from start to finish and must pass all control points.
ICR 343.6.1: If a competitor skis on a wrong section or leaves the marked course, the competitor should return to the point where the error was made. In order to do so, the competitor may have to ski against the correct ski direction and shall be totally responsible for ensuring that there is no obstruction and that other competitors are not endangered.
The only sanctioning recourse available to the jury is disqualification from the results. The jury will meet to address any rule violations. The general decision-making process of the jury is to address whether a violation occurred and, if so, did the violation provide an advantage to the competitor or impede another competitor’s progress. Each rule violation is addressed individually, and the athlete and coach in question have a right to address the jury. Please see the VPA Nordic Guide for the protest and appeals process.
The start for the relay will be a flat 5-across grid of 3m squares. 5-3-1-2-4 across and so on with seeding done in accordance with ICR 315.3.1 & VPA Rules 906 & 907.

All Team Vans, Wax Trucks and Trailers will be parked in the lower Parking Lot
